GPU prices when halving will go up again? (Reddit Bitcoin)

I know we doing proof of stake and that makes mining less resource intensive task (or something like that, tbh I dont know well).

But there is still ppl mining with gpus, btc price will go up on the bull again, so will people start to buy gpus to mine again?

I just wonder if I should uograde my gpu before everything goes to hell, if it does I would have to wait 2/3 years to get a decent price on a gpu
